Hi everyone!

Well, the sun's out here in Atlanta, our first really warm spring day, and that reminded me of the Spring 2005 edition of Inception (www.inception-magazine.com).

I NEED SUBMISSIONS!

The deadline for submissions (essays, poetry, artwork and reviews) is May 1st. Last edition I didn't get quite enough stuff so this time, I was to encourage people to send stuff in. Please? For information on submitting, look at http://www.inception-magazine.com/about.htm or just email me what you have.

IDEAS FOR SUBMISSIONS

I know there are some people out there who say, "I wanna contribute, but I can't think of what to do!" Well, for those people, here are some ideas...

- Ghosts of Blood and Innocence is coming out this month, so by mid-April some of you will have READ it. Please write some reviews! Or articles about characters. Or do pictures of characters.

- If you're a new fan of Storm's, write about how you found out about her, what you're read so far, what you think.

- If you're an old fan, write about how Storm's writing has affected you. Inception has published lots of things like that and a lot of people have interesting stories.

- Inception runs a lot of magic-related pieces. Are you part of a magic group? Do you have some magical practices you'd like to write about? Maybe you have some ideas about modern paganism you'd like to write about.

- Poetry! A lot of poets are either shy or say they're not poets. Well, if you have some dark stuff, magic oriented poetry, stuff that sounds like goth song lyrics, or anything else you think would appeal to Storm fans, please send it in.

- Character portraits have been very popular. Most of the artwork has been of Wraeththu. That's great, but what about some Grigori artwork? Or maybe pictures of Tayven and Khaster from Magravandias? Artwork that is not connected to Storm at all is also fine. Photography is welcome as well.

- Movies reviews are very well. Amy Harlib and I have both done movie reviews for films we think Inception readers would like, and I encourage people to send in more. STORM has submitted a review of "Alexander," so please, let's get some more movie reviews!

- Book reviews for authors who might be similar to Storm or who explore cool areas. Inception also runs reviews of graphic novels and manga.
